Abstract

The successful implementation of Information Technology (IT) in a company in the todays technological era determined by the maturity of the strategic planning. The development of best practices as a guide has been prepared by many researcher. However, the flexibility of adopting the best practice offered is still too complicated for small and medium scale companies such as IT business companies. Based on various uniqueness considerations and the lack of standardized implementation studies. This study builds a new conceptual model for develop an appropriate IT strategy to answer various existing issues and problems without losing the flexibility of its implementation. Further studies related to the development of the SI strategy formulation model will be carried out using the concept of systematic mapping with the initiation stage of searching, collecting and classifying papers, analyzing the results and discussion involving various perspectives of researchers and practitioners in the field of strategy management, and designing conceptual models will be built. The outcome is a picture of a modern conceptual paradigm that offers a summary of the development process, the description of priorities, domain classification, and formulation of an IT strategy. Ease of understanding and implementing the results of this conceptual model is more in line with the scale of the company without needing to do much elimination.
